Dra. Vivian Almeida Castilho

Radiologist with a Specialist Title in Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging from the Brazilian College of Radiology (CBR) and the Brazilian Medical Association (AMB). Her solid academic background includes an Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine from the renowned University of Porto (Portugal), where she also earned the Specialist Title in Radiology and maintains active registration with the Portuguese Medical Association (OM: 77674). As international recognition of her expertise, Dr. Vivian holds certifications from EDiR (European Diploma in Radiology), confirming her knowledge under the highest European standards, and from ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography), validating her proficiency in ultrasound in the United States. With extensive hands-on experience, she serves as Preceptor of the Dermatological Ultrasound Medical Residency at the University Hospital of Taubaté (HMUT) and at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São José dos Campos-SP. Furthermore, she is a Specialist in Ultrasound-Guided Interventional Pain Procedures, with postgraduate education from the renowned Sinpain group, applying her skills to promote relief and well-being for patients. Creator of the innovative Guide Me project and author of two influential books in the field, Dr. Vivian is also an active member of the Latin American Pain Society and the Brazilian College of Radiology, reinforcing her commitment to research, innovation, and the continuous advancement of medicine.
